Bourbon Vanilla Pods

Bourbon Vanilla pods has a characteristic vanilla and fruity flavour and a strong, aromatic fragrance.

Planifolia Bourbon vanilla from Madagascar accounts for over 80% of the global harvest because of its ideal weather conditions. Bourbon Vanilla pods is grown in the region of Andapa-Sambava-Antalaha in North of the Madagascar.

The pods come in 16-20cm sizes. 

Chef’s tip: 1-2 pods are needed per litre of cream or milk.

Perfect for adding to ice creams, sponges, mousses and desserts.

Suitable for hot and cold applications.
