In 1986, Valrhona launched their legendary Guanaja chocolate; the world’s most bitter chocolate with a cocoa content of 70%. To create Guanaja, Valrhona mixed together a unique blend of the aromatic profiles found in classic Trinidadian, Dominican, Jamaican, Ghanaian, Ivorian and Madagascan cocoas. They use a blend of Criollo and Trinitario cocoa beans varieties. This is what make Valrhona Dark Chocolate Guanaja Couverture so unique.
Valrhona Dark Chocolate Couverture Guanaja is suitable for coating, moulding, bars, cream mix, ganache, mousse, ice cream and glaze. It pairs well with flavours such as red fruit, tonka bean, salted butter caramel and ginger.
