We were honoured to have Peter Gries, VP FSD Cluster at METRO AG, and Lorcan Byrne Managing Director from Caterite Food & Wineservice Ltd, along with colleagues from across the METRO AG FSD Cluster, including Aviludo, S.A., PRO à PRO, Classic Fine Foods Group, and more.

A New Chapter in Our Journey

Our move marks a pivotal moment in Classic Fine Foods’ history. This isn’t just a change in address; it’s a leap forward, embracing innovation, growth, and endless possibilities.

We’re stepping into a space that reflects our commitment to excellence—an environment that fosters creativity, collaboration, and forward-thinking solutions.

Innovation at the Heart of Our New Home

Our new office is more than just a space. It’s a canvas for new ideas and breakthroughs. Within these spaces, we’ll collaborate, ideate, and build on our shared vision for the future.

Designed with cutting-edge amenities—from ergonomic workstations to serene breakout areas—our space is a reflection of the collective drive that fuels our passion.

This is not just about us, but about YOU—our partners, customers, and employees. Together, we’ll create milestones, celebrate successes, and shape the future.

We’re proud to introduce our state-of-the-art facility, built to meet the highest standards of Classic Fine Foods UK. Designed with our specific needs, stringent standards, and long-term expansion plans in mind, this new facility will serve as the home of Classic Fine Foods UK for generations to come.

This milestone marks a significant chapter in our journey of growth and innovation. We are driven by expansion, but we’re equally committed to doing it sustainably. This commitment to responsibility is why we’re thrilled to announce that we recently achieved Certified B Corp status—a recognition of our dedication to both business excellence and environmental impact.”

Bigger Warehouse, Better Service

Our new 6,000-square-metre warehouse is four times the size of our previous facility, providing us with the capacity to serve you better.

Equipped with the latest technology, the new space allows for more efficient unloading of deliveries, boosting our intake capacity by 60%. We’ve also streamlined operations with dedicated sections for each product category, making everything faster and more precise.

Thanks to these advancements, we’re picking, packing, and dispatching orders with greater accuracy and speed than ever before, meaning a more seamless experience for our customers.

Optimised Logistics for Faster Deliveries

Our transport team is benefitting from the improved layout too. With dedicated lanes for each route, loading and dispatching are more efficient.

This means quicker delivery times for both morning and afternoon shifts across the country. And with three additional 7.5-tonne vehicles joining our fleet this October, we’re ramping up our capacity to reach you faster.

Building a Sustainable Future

Sustainability is at the core of our vision, and our new warehouse embodies this commitment. We're excited to share some of the green upgrades integrated into our facility:

- Solar Power Expansion: Our roof is lined with solar panels, helping us maximise renewable energy use.

- Smart Lighting: Energy-efficient systems make the most of natural light.

- EV Charging Points: Supporting a greener future with electric and hybrid vehicle charging stations.

- Rainwater Harvesting: Collecting rainwater to reduce our reliance on municipal resources and manage flood risks sustainably.

- Eco-Friendly Refrigeration: Using CO2-based refrigeration systems that lower our environmental footprint.

- Waste Segregation & Recycling: We’re cutting down on landfill waste by recycling or reusing most materials.

- Biodiverse Landscaping: Coming next spring, pollinator-friendly plants will surround our premises, enhancing local biodiversity.

We’re also proud to be a certified B Corp, meaning we’re deeply committed to prioritising people, communities, and the planet in everything we do.

Join us on this exciting new chapter as we continue our journey towards a sustainable, innovative, and customer-centric future!
