With over 50 years of experience, Vercelli offers high-quality veal from calves born, farmed and slaughtered in Italy.
It all started over five decades ago when the Vercelli brothers, Pietro and Vittorio, began to trade in fattening cattle on the Italian and foreign markets.
Today the Vercelli group runs over 30 farming plants in Piedmont, Lombardy and Emilia Romagna regions, all built and managed according to the relevant European guidelines for animal welfare and health and safety.
The slaughtering and all logistics operations are kept under one single management, allowing the Vercelli family and Group to guarantee the high quality of its products personally and directly.
Vercelli veal has a characteristic white colour due to the young ages of the calves and a special diet of dry feeds and milk.
Enjoy a mild scent with subtle tones of grass and cereals, a delicate taste and the right amount of juices, as well as a very fine, velvety texture to the touch and the palate.
