BV Dairy

Established in 1958 by the Highnam family, BV Dairy has grown from its humble beginnings selling award-winning Clotted Cream locally to becoming a prominent name in the dairy industry. In 2024, proudly joined the First Milk family, aligning with this British farmer-owned regenerative co-operative.

Today, BV Dairy is celebrated as one of the most respected and successful dairies in the South West of England. Their state-of-the-art production facility is located on the edge of North Dorset’s lush and fertile Blackmore Vale. Over there they leverage the latest manufacturing technology to produce renowned range of specialty dairy products.

With over 180 dedicated colleagues, they possess deep expertise in all facets of the dairy industry and maintain strong ties with the local farming community. Sustainability is at the heart of their operations; by sourcing milk exclusively from Red Tractor accredited farms within a 30-mile radius. By working closely with farmers, they ensure that their happy, healthy cows provide the highest quality milk, essential for crafting unique, high-quality chilled dairy products.
