The London Honey Company

The London Honey Company

The London Honey Company was born through Steve Benbow’s desire to bring a little of the countryside into the city, resulting in him installing honeybees on the roof of his home near Tower Bridge, London.

Established in 1999, over time The London Honey Company was to start a trend in urban beekeeping seen across the world.

Today, they are dedicated to the production of extraordinary British honey and passionate in their pursuit of the continued craft of beekeeping, its traditions, and methods.

It is their dedication to nature that creates the glorious range of British honey they’re known for today. From the Kent coast to the rolling Cotswolds, to the high Lancashire heather hills, their slow beekeeping methods have created a distinctive range of pure natural honey for all the world to enjoy.

The London Honey Company is a member of Slow Food UK and is accredited by the Soil Association.

Their collection of natural unpasteurised and minimally filtered pure British honey has received ten individual Great Taste Awards for products including London and Shropshire Honey, and monofloral Ling Heather and Borage Honey.
