On Thursday 30th May, four of the UK’s top chefs came together for one night only to deliver an exclusive four course gastronomic fundraising feast by Hospitality Action.
We were proud to support Hospitality Action Bike to Care Gala Dinner held in the stylish grand Ballroom at five-star Nobu Hotel London Portman Square in aid of Bike to Care en Bourgogne.
This unforgettable evening of exquisite dining was in aid of raising vital funds to support those in crisis in the hospitality industry. This special event is in honour of the 2024 Bike to Care en Bourgogne, which will see 13 distinguished hospitality figures embark upon a two-day cycling challenge this June in aid of Hospitality Action.
Guests enjoyed the company of fellow food enthusiasts and were treated to a canapé and Taittinger Champagne reception and a four-course meal with wine throughout, whilst having the opportunity to bid on exclusive money-can’t-buy auction lots in the live and silent auctions. The Live Auction was hosted by Charlie Foley, Auctioneer and Wine Specialist, Christie’s.
Guests indulged in four sumptuous courses crafted by some of the most talented chefs in the industry.
The stellar lineup of award-winning chefs includes:
- Richard Davies, Chef-Consultant
- Tom Hamblet, MasterChef: The Professionals 2023 Winner
- Jordan Sclare, Group Executive Chef, Chotto Matte
- Michael Paul, Executive Chef, Nobu Hotel London Portman Square
We were proud to sponsor the starter course by supplying fresh and seasonal vegetables by Classic Harvest. The starter was Hiramasa umami jime sashimi with caviar by Michael Paul, Executive Chef at Nobu Hotel London Portman Square.
The evening also included an inspirational speech by Sara Symington, a cycling double Olympian, who will share moving anecdotes from her fascinating career. Known for making bold decisions to enhance performance, Sara successfully builds a positive team culture promoting development and empowerment.
A stupendous £85,000 was raised during this Gala Dinner! The money will be put to use supporting people in the hospitality industry. It’s amazing to be part of the support and dedication given to Hospitality Action and the industry.
