Our long-term partner Valrhona turned 100 years and we celebrated this huge milestone on an incredible event hosted at The Guildhall London.
The best Pastry Chefs of the country, friends and customers of the industry were invited to enjoy the celebration and the night was full of surprises including the reveal of the Pastry Team UK who will compete in the Pastry World Cup in Lyon in 2023.
One of the most special moments in the evening was the opening of the second crypt where a hidden surprised was revealed: the 100 years of history of Valrhona through chocolate!
What an incredible buffet made by Valrhona Pastry Chefs and Pastry Team UK marking some of the key milestones from the last 100 years of Valrhona weaving together the history and iconic products with key points from Patisserie and Gastronomy over that time.
The guests were delighted with mouth-watering applications including Choco-Passion by Belle Epoque, Dulcey Blond Croustibilles, Ispashan Macaron, Guanaja-Tonka Carre, Palet Or, Encore at the Opera, Rinetter Lait and Paris-Toky choux.
