What better way to celebrate the start of Wimbledon than with a delicious summery cocktail. This light and refreshing G&T is perfect for your spring-summer menus.

Using Lakes Distillery grapefruit gin for a refreshing flavour, yuzu juice for a citrus note and Giffard strawberry syrup for an added sweetness, this cocktail is deliciously balanced. For a fun twist, we have created a lemon peel ‘tennis ball’ ice cube to really wow your guests! And what Wimbledon drink would be complete without a strawberry garnish. This drink is a true ace!

Ingredients

  • 50ml Lakes Distillery grapefruit gin
  • 150ml tonic water
  • 10ml yuzu juice
  • 10ml Giffard strawberry syrup
  • 1 Strawberry
  • Mint
  • Lemon Peel
  • Ice Cube

Method

  1. Add your lemon peel to a circular ice cub mould and top up with water. Freeze for a few hours.
  2. Pour the grapefruit gin, strawberry syrup and yuzu juice into your gin glass and stir well.
  3. Add the mint leaves and then the ice cube to your glass. Top up with tonic water.
  4. To garnish, add a strawberry on the side of the glass. Serve immediately.
