An intense yet light vegan chocolate cake using Yumgo plant based liquid egg yolk. This decadent dessert is a real crowd pleaser and totally vegan!
Ingredients
- 100g of Yumgo Vegan Liquid Egg Yolk
- 225g chocolate
- 180g BeBetter plant based butter
- 200g sugar
- 62.5g rice flour
- 70g cornstarch
- 25g potato starch
- 3g baking powder
- 2 pinches of salt
- 100g water
Method
- Melt butter in a pan.
- Add YUMGO Yellow then the water and heat everything.
- In a bowl, mix chocolate and sugar.
- Add the hot liquid mixture which will gently melt the chocolate. Mix with a whisk.
- Add sifted flour, salt, baking powder, potato starch and cornstarch.
- For a very smooth and shiny texture, finish with an electric mixer.
- Bake at 160°C for 40 to 50 minutes.
- Leave to cool for 30 minutes and place in the freezer for 1 hour before serving.
